Clerics are trained in warfare and martial combat; they are able to wear heavy armour and use all types of weapons. These abilities grant the Cleric a degree of survivability in combat. Thus, Clerics are often found as the front-line combatants of the adventuring party; protecting the spellcasters and less armoured party members from the brutal onslaught of dungeon dwelling monsters. Outside of the adventuring party, Clerics are knights, mercenaries, seafaring captains, rangers and other such martial professions.
